I noticed now a days that I pay more attention to the subtle details in life than I used to. And when I say life I say the things around me, my environment. Now that I want to become a really serious artist I try to see the details in real life and apply them to my work. However, that doesn't work very well but I know I can eventually reach that level of observance.:) I still have many things to learn. I don't know how to make a good background, folds in clothes stump me, and really fine details slip out of my grasp. There are plenty of tutorials but it is still a little hard for me to gan all I can from them. But I am happy to know I am improving gradually.

Awsome, how about u try what I try when I write a poem. Find a pic with a lot of stuff in it, it doesn't amtter what pic. Find the smallest detail u can and explore it. Think "y is it there? does it have imporatntance to the artist? or is it just for decoration?" try it

So what equip gives the +9 in observance in real life? lol, kidding. I like to look at photos of stuff and try to write about what I see in them.

Keep being snazzy, your art rocks.

If a nobody can feel anger, hate and disappointment, perhaps they can also feel love.

I watch the people I request from. It's both polite and good karma. If I requested from you and have not watched you, please send me a note.
ok

As for the clothes folds I say grab your best friend and use them as a model! And if you are trying something in action a camera then look at the way the clothes are! Thats what I do since I am still begining.

ahhh clothing, I took a DAU class or dozen a year back, I even went to college for Graphics and Visual design.... lol I learned more from that DAU class than anything though. all I can say is don't look at it as fabric, look at it as a whole, see the negative and positives within the object, and go from there. Don't try to draw the body then the clothing, draw it as one... always remember that what ever is surrounding the object leaves its color behind on the object. [link]
